Hello, friends! This is Kipper! My Ma wanted me to tell you what fun we have been having on our travels across the USA. We get to travel in a 26 foot RV, called a Born Free President model. It has a kitchen and a bathroom, and even a shower! Thankfully, none of us pups have had to have a bath in it yet! The first day, we left at 6:30 in the morning. It was fun driving all the way across to Naples, Idaho, close to Bonners Ferry for our first night camping! We camped by the Blue Lake, which is so deep, they haven't ever been able to reach the bottom, yet. We walked around the campground before it got too dark and then we went to bed. We were tired because Ma's GPS told her to go 8 1/2 miles up a gravel road to get to the campground. When we got up there, the campground was no where to be seen! Come to find out, the Good Sam's Travel Guide directed us to Bonners Ferry instead of Naples!! It was very, very bumpy and Ma and Pa were pretty grumpy when we got out of that mess! The second night was spent at the worst place we have ever been! It was in Havre, MT and right in town in a parking lot. When Pa was trying to disconnect the RV so we could leave early the next morning (it was right NEXT to the train tracks!! not much sleep for any of us), the sprinklers turned on and drenched him and even sprayed inside our RV!! Grumpy Ma and Pa again! Thankfully, we drove past a parking lot just full of Christian billboards and they had a big tent there, too! Come to find out, the Missionary Baptist Church of West Glacier Park, MT. They gave us some nice magnets to hand out to people as we tell them Jesus loves them. It was a perfect part of our day. We drove and drove to Minot, North Dakota. Ma said it was like a haven of rest and was so peaceful, lovely, and quiet. We got good rest and bike rides at this nice place! We also got to walk around a lot and people oohed and aahed at us because Ma had dressed us all up in our cute little outfits! Too bad it was raining and thundering the next day, or we might have stayed an extra day! We did take off later than usual the next morning, so we couldn't make it to our chosen destination of Kabetogama, MN. Instead, we stopped at a little store along the way and an Indian Chief told us to take our RV to the Chippewa Casino down the road and they would let us stay there. For free!! They even had electrical hookups so we could have lights and cook our dinner. It was nice a peaceful there in the back of their huge parking lot. The Fall colors are gorgeous, according to Ma. She loves looking at them. We saw funny signs along the way, like: Bridge gets icy before road. And we passed through all kinds of interesting spots, such as Devil's Lake (where Ma and Pa were tempted and didn't resist buying a Dairy Queen ice cream cone! No worries, they shared with all of us!) which is the geographical center of North America. We stopped by the "BIG FISH" and took pictures there, too. Goyang-i didn't even want to come out of the RV for that one, since he was sure that big fish would eat him! Manistique was by far our favorite place so far! It was quiet and elegant and we got to ride bikes again and have fun in our play yard! Goyang-i especially enjoyed the little chipmunks who sat in the trees scolding him for looking hungry! Ha ha! There was a lighthouse out in the bay of Lake Michigan and it was hard to say goodbye the next morning, but it was raining again, soooo.... Now we are in Sandusky, OH. It is a nice woodsy campground and quiet except for the cicadas. They are noisy. We all took turns riding in Pa's bike basket and now we are headed for bed. It is hot here and very sunny, but thunderstorms are due at 3am, so we better get some sleep while we can!! Tomorrow, we are headed for Niagara Falls!!!!
